Nol Card Recharge: How to Recharge Your Card

Dubai Metro & Bus Stations:

Ticket vending machines and ticket office counters are installed at all Dubai metro and bus stations. You can use cash or debit/credit cards to recharge the NOL card on these machines and counters.

The procedure is simple for a vending machine. Insert the card in the vending machine, select the option to recharge your payment(cash/card), and choose how much money you want to add to your NOL card. Keep your card on the reader for at least six seconds, and viola, your card is recharged now.

Authorized Top-up Agents:

RTA has approved hundreds of businesses as ‘top-up agents’ to Nol Card Recharge. It includes mini-marts, grocery stores, supermarkets, cafes, and other locations. You can visit the RTA’s website here to learn about them. Look for them by clicking on the NOL Service Channels and then on NOL top-up agents.

Petrol Stations:

Petrol stations offer another convenient way to recharge NOL cards. You can top-up your NOL card at ENOC and EPPCO petrol stations throughout Dubai, Zoom, and other standalone stores.

RTA’s Website:

RTA’s website is another way to Nol Card Recharge, which is quite popular among users. Let us walk you through the entire process below.

Visit RTA’s Dubai website and register first if you are not already registered. Secondly, enter your card details in the fields given below.

In the next window, you will see a drop-down menu to select the amount you want to top-up and turn the Terms & Conditions tab to ‘accept’ mode to proceed ahead by pressing the ‘Confirm’ button at the bottom.

To make your payment effective, select the payment method, enter your email address and mobile number, and make the final payment by clicking on ‘Pay.’ You will be asked to provide further information based on the payment method you have chosen, and that’s about it. Your updated balance will be reflected after some time.

RTA’s Mobile App:

Let’s assume you already have it installed on your phone; if not, you can download and install it to the Google App Store or Apple Store.

Open the app and go to the ‘Public Transport’ tab. To go there, you will have to swipe the screen from right to left five times.

Under the ‘Public Transport’ tab, you will see the option ‘Top up nol Card’; click on it, and the following window will come to your screen.

You need to enter your NOL card serial number, the amount you want to top-up, and your email address before you enter ‘PAY.’ Once you hit the ‘PAY’ button, you will be asked to provide your credit card information, enter it, go through the OTP process, and pay.

The Nol Pay App:

You can also recharge your NOL card through the NOL app. The process is very straightforward. Open the app, go to the ‘Cards’ section, and select ‘Top Up.’ Enter your email ID and NOL tag ID, and then enter the desired amount and select the payment method you want to use to make payment in the same manner you chose for the above methods, and you are good to go.

The S’hail App:

Yet another way to Nol Card Recharge online is via the S’hail app. It is easily and freely available on Android and Apple app stores. Install the app and open it. Navigate the home screen to locate the ‘Tap up the nol card’ section.

Now, enter your NOL card ID. Your card’s current balance will be displayed on the screen. Select the desired amount to top-up, enter your email ID, and select the payment method. You will then be asked to confirm your credit card details, and after confirmation, your payment will go through smoothly and securely.

‘Dubai Now’ Mobile App:

Digital Dubai Authority developed the Dubai Now app for the convenience of the general public. It allows users to access over 130 public and private services, like paying your power or water bills, recharging your Salik account, and, of course, topping up the NOL card. We are here to discuss it.

How You Do It:

Open the app by logging in with your UAE Pass account. Look for ‘Bills’ on the homepage and tap ‘nol.’

Add your NOL tag ID and select the top-up amount.

You will now be asked to input your credit or debit card information to effect the payment.

After the payment is successful, you will get a notification, and that is how you do it in this app.

By Mobile App:

Many banking apps also give you the option to Nol Card Recharge. There might be some charges involved in the transaction. Ask your bank about those charges. Banks like Emirates NBD, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and Emirates Islamic provide you with this facility through their apps.

Careem App:

The Careem app also lets you recharge the NOL card. To use it, open the app, go to ‘All Services,’ tap on ‘Bills and Recharges,’ and from there, tap on ‘nol.’ Now enter your nol tag ID and click ‘Add account.’ You can now check your balance and select the top-up amount. Use Apple, Google, or Samsung Pay and credit/debit card information to pay the amount.
