The Arafat (the second day of the Hajj pilgrimage) is observed on 9 Dhul Al-Hajj, followed by Eid al Adha, which is celebrated from 10 to 12 Dhul Al-Hajj in memory of Prophet Ibrahim’s readiness to sacrifice his son to obey God’s command.
