The UAE Ministry of Education periodically conducts online tests to check students’ knowledge. The Emirates Standardized Test, or EmSAT Registration for short, assesses students’ understanding of maths, biology, physics, computer science (for university and science faculty admission), Arabic, and English.

If you want to get admission to higher studies, passing this test is mandatory; you can think of it as an entry test. You need to register yourself at EmSat’s portal before you appear for this test, and in this blog, we will discuss how you can self-register for a successful EmSat account. So, let’s begin.

Registering for EmSat:

You can register for EmSat in two ways.

  • Registration through School/University
  • Self-registration

Registration Through School/University:

If you are registering via your school or university, you need to talk to your coordinator, who will ask for certain documents for registration. After you have provided the required documents, the coordinator will submit them on your behalf and, upon successful registration, provide you with a user ID and password. You will eventually use this user ID and password to log in EmSat.

Self Registration:

Now, we come to self-registration for EmSat. Self-registration is easy, and the Education Ministry has also prepared an instruction manual for your guidance. Let us walk you through the entire process.

Step 1:

Visit EmSat’s official portal to initiate the registration process by selecting the tab “Register for EmSAT”> “Achieve Test.”

Step 2

As you can see, you can quickly sign in using the UAE PASS. If you do not have one, you need to download the UAE PASS mobile app, register there, and get a UAE PASS to proceed. You will require your Emirates ID and some other basic information to register.

If you do not have an Emirates ID, go to step number 4 to learn how to register.

Step 3:

If you have already logged in with your UAE PASS, you will be redirected to the following page

Please note that to successfully register yourself for EmSAT you need to have your application approved by your school or university coordinator. If your coordinator has not approved your application yet, you cannot proceed further and will instead see the following message.

Step 4:

If you do not have an Emirates ID, you must apply to it by clicking here and selecting the “Application for Non-Emirates ID Holder/Special Case” tab from the drop-down menu. Fill out the form and send it. You will be notified after your case has been studied and registration completed.

Step 5:

If you do not have a student profile at the EmSAT student portal you must create one by filling in the form and providing the necessary information.

Step 6:

Once you are done with it, you will be automatically redirected to the payment gateway. Again, the process is simple. You need to select the payment method, enter card details and click okay to complete the process.

Step 7:

It is the final step of your EmSAT registration where you will get its confirmation. You will receive a message on your screen that confirms that the registration has been successful and you can appear for your test at the given time.

If you need to make some changes, you can do it now by pressing the “Edit” tab, otherwise, the process is complete and you have successfully booked an EmSAT test for yourself.
